How It Works

01

Addiction treatment

Many people are unaware that there are various treatment options available for those struggling with drug or alcohol addiction. This is particularly important for individuals with busy lives or those who need to continue working. Those who are addicted are already less inclined to seek help, and the thought of being away from their normal lives for an extended period only further discourages them from getting the assistance they need. Different types of addiction focus on three key aspects: active patient involvement, the acquisition of coping skills for post-treatment challenges, and gaining insight into the underlying reasons behind one’s substance abuse.

02

Group Meeting

Outpatient treatment for addiction care is usually a six week period when the patient has a group or individual counseling 3-4 nights a week. These treatments are not for everyone and do require the individual to be able to stay sober (drugs or alcohol).
